One of our servers was failing to backup for awhile. `net use` would show ‘System Error 1231 Network Location Cannot Be Reached’ when we tried to mount the remote share. This turns out to have been a dumb issue, at some point the ‘Client for Microsoft Networks’ got disabled on the primary network adapter. Once I reenabled it, everything worked perfectly again.
